Niv Rotem is Senior Vice President of Acquisitions at Douglass Park Asset Management. He is responsible for sourcing and closing workforce housing and affordable housing investment opportunities throughout the country.
Before joining Douglass Park, Mr. Rotem had his own firm, investing in and developing multifamily properties throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions with a particular focus on the emerging areas of New York and Philadelphia. He also served as an advisor to non-profits, religious institutions and universities regarding how best to make use of their properties and excess development potential.
Mr. Rotem has extensive experience in large-scale residential acquisitions and development. At Times Square Development Group, he repositioned stalled condo projects in Manhattan and developed a luxury condo in Long Island City. He also led the assembly of a 100,000+ square-foot residential site in Manhattan’s Grand Central District.
At Archstone-Smith, a major national owner/operator/developer of multifamily properties, he was part of a team responsible for $1 billion+ of ground-up development projects throughout the Northeast including Archstone Clinton, a 633-unit LEED certified mixed-use project in the Clinton neighborhood of Manhattan.
Mr. Rotem holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, a JD from Tulane Law School, and a BA from Cornell University. He is admitted to the Bar and is a licensed real estate broker in New York.
