Hugo Meijon is a Senior Associate, Operations at Douglass Park Asset Management, where he oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects across the company’s portfolio. His responsibilities include evaluating property assessments, defining project scope in alignment with each project’s goals, overseeing design development, and handling budgets, timelines, and construction teams. Additionally, Mr. Meijon collaborates with the acquisition team through deal sourcing, analysis, and closing.
While Mr. Meijon is a member of the Douglass Park team, he continues to play a key role at Lemor Development Group, where he oversees the management and coordination of general contractors, architects, engineers, consultants, and other stakeholders throughout the entire project lifecycle —from the programming phase to construction and close-out. In addition, Mr. Meijon provides support in project conversions and transitions to operations, collaborating closely with asset and property management teams.
Mr. Meijon has extensive experience across various branches of the construction field, including estimation, scheduling, quality management, and design, within both the public and private sectors in the US and Brazil. He possesses academic expertise in Lean Construction, the Last Planner System, and Target Value Design, having published numerous papers in specialized journals. In addition, Mr. Meijon has taught in higher education.
Mr. Meijon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Bahia and a Master of Science Degree in Construction Management from Stevens Institute of Technology.
